After trading under the ticker "WLTW" since 2016, the company now trades under the ticker "WTW," with the change taking effect on January 10.
WTW's visual identity has been updated with the addition of a new logo to its website and social media accounts.
“Our name and brand reflect the clarity and actionable solutions we bring to today's challenges," said Hess, who leads a workforce of 45,000 people at WTW.
"Changing our ticker symbol is just one of the ways we are simplifying to increase our agility and effectiveness as we move forward as a strong and independent WTW," the CEO said in a separate statement.
With roots dating back to 1828, Henry Willis's company now serves over 140 countries and markets. WTW specializes in people, risk, and capital, and describes its offerings as data-driven and insight-led.
