Acrisure said it will acquire managing general agent Efficient Insurance Solutions as part of its effort to expand delegated underwriting authority capabilities and support broader regional growth.

The US-based financial technology and insurance group, headquartered in Grand Rapids, will acquire 100% of EIS’s equity under the agreement. The current owners will roll into the transaction as shareholders of Acrisure. The company said the existing EIS management board will remain in place, indicating continuity in leadership and operations following the deal.

Deal Gives Acrisure Full Ownership of Technology-Enabled Affinity MGA

Efficient Insurance Solutions operates as a technology-enabled MGA focused on affinity distribution. Its book of business centers on consumer electronics and white goods, segments that depend on automation speed and efficient claims processing.

In addition to underwriting, EIS manages claims on behalf of carrier partners and develops its own technology and workflow automation tools. These capabilities align with Acrisure’s strategy of integrating technology and data-driven processes across its insurance platforms.

Igor Rusinowski, CEO of Central and Eastern Europe at Acrisure, said the combination creates new opportunities by pairing EIS’s specialist expertise with Acrisure’s global scale. He cited access to international capabilities, including the London Market, across retail and commercial insurance, reinsurance brokerage, and MGA platforms.

EIS Leadership to Remain as Regulatory Review Continues

The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval from the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection. Acrisure said the deal cannot legally close until clearance is granted, although operational planning is already underway.

Justyna Dżus-Toczek, CEO of Efficient Insurance Solutions, said the acquisition places the MGA on an international stage. She described the transaction as an opportunity to support both new and existing clients in Poland and nearby markets.

According to Beinsure analysts, acquisitions of specialist MGAs reflect a broader trend among large fintech brokers. Analysts note that firms increasingly pursue delegated authority capacity through acquisitions rather than competing for it later as demand increases.

Transaction Follows Acrisure’s Recent Acquisition of MGA Vave

The EIS acquisition follows another Acrisure deal announced in December 2025. At that time, Acrisure agreed to acquire Vave, a technology-focused underwriting MGA, from specialty and property and casualty reinsurer Canopius Group. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, and the deal remains subject to customary closing conditions.

Vave positions itself as a tech-first underwriting operation built around data-driven pricing and rapid execution. The MGA offers instantly bindable quotes for catastrophe-exposed excess and surplus property risks across the United States. Its platform enables real-time binding and servicing through application programming interfaces and targets distributors that require speed and scale.

Acrisure operates a network-based insurance brokerage model supported by fintech capabilities. The company acquires entrepreneurial agencies that become agency partners, allowing them to maintain local relationships while accessing Acrisure’s centralized data, analytics, and product platforms.

The group offers property and casualty insurance, employee benefits, specialty lines, and personal insurance. Acrisure has also expanded into related services, including banking, investing, payroll, cybersecurity, real estate services, and mortgage solutions.
