Everest said the new policy offers several value added coverage enhancements through Embroker’s digitized platform.
Coverage is available in 31 states and looks to expand availability further in 2020.
The addition of this program will expand and complement the company’s existing lawyers’ professional liability offering for larger firms, and reflects the organization’s commitment to continued expansion in select target markets, Everest said.
Brian Drum, senior vice-president and head of Everest Underwriting Partners, said: “This product helps cover the wide-ranging risks that smaller law firms encounter.
“We are very excited to offer this coverage through Embroker, utilizing their expertise and unique digitization capabilities in the marketplace to better serve our smaller law firm policyholders, maximising the efficiency of their professional liability insurance buying experience.”
Matt Miller, chief executive officer of San Francisco-based Embroker, said: “We are thrilled to provide a technology platform with a strong, A+ rated insurance provider like Everest, that allows us to streamline all aspects of the insurance buying process, and most importantly helps our clients protect their firms from risk.”
