The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) is celebrating the launch of its Florida Chapter with a hands-on community service initiative: the Harvest Pack Project, a volunteer meal-packing event in partnership with nonprofit organization Harvest Pack. This kickoff event will unite insurance professionals, friends, and families in the Greater Tampa Bay area to combat food insecurity.
Join the Effort to Pack 20,000 Meals
IICF Florida’s first volunteer event is scheduled for:
- Date & Time: October 9, 2025 | 3:00 – 4:30 PM
- Location: Tampa River Center, 402 West Laurel Street, Tampa, FL 33607
With a goal of packing more than 20,000 healthy meals for local distribution, the IICF Florida Chapter is calling on at least 100 industry volunteers to participate. This event is part of IICF’s broader mission to fight hunger and support underserved communities.

A New Chapter of Giving in Florida
The IICF Florida Chapter, based in Tampa and part of the IICF Southeast Division, expands the Foundation’s reach into one of the nation’s most dynamic insurance markets. With a focus on at-risk youth, food insecurity, and disaster relief, the chapter aims to build a philanthropic network of insurance professionals dedicated to serving local communities.
This effort aligns with IICF’s nationwide mission. Since its inception, the Foundation has granted over $50 million to nonprofits and contributed $12 million in volunteer service value, helping more than 1,000 nonprofit partners across the U.S. and internationally. Learn more at www.IICF.org.
