IICF to Host Northeast Benefit Event on Dec. 9

IICF is hosting its 2020 Annual Benefit Event virtually to support nonprofits in the New York Tri-state region and honor industry leaders in philanthropy. Insurance professionals and notable celebrity guests will gather to celebrate the philanthropic contributions of the industry and raise funds for nonprofit grantees providing food and vital services to those struggling in our community, at a time when funds are needed more than ever.

IICF holds future of work reform

WHEN & WHERE: Online/Virtual on Wednesday, Dec. 9 from 6 – 7 p.m. EST.

DETAILS: The 2020 IICF Annual Benefit Event will honor J. Patrick Gallagher Jr., Chairman, President and CEO of Gallagher, and the entire Gallagher organization with the “Double I” award, which recognizes Influence in the industry and Impact in the community. The award is presented annually to a prominent insurance organization that has demonstrated inspiring philanthropic leadership and support of local communities. This year, the award will be presented by Dino E. Robusto, Chairman and CEO of CNA Financial Corporation. This virtual event is IICF’s largest fundraiser in the Northeast and is designed to provide support to community members in need, particularly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Celebrity speakers and guests include:

  • Henrik Lundqvist, Former New York Rangers Goaltender
  • John Mara, Owner of the New York Giants
  • Tino Martinez, Former New York Yankee
  • Brandi Chastain, American Soccer Player, Two–Time FIFA Women’s World Cup, Two-Time Olympic Gold-Medalist
  • Young People’s Chorus of New York City
