The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping communities and enriching lives, raised nearly $1.3 million at their 16th Annual Northeast Benefit Event on December 10 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. This charitable gala gathered professionals from across the insurance industry for a night dedicated to celebrating the industry’s philanthropic efforts, while raising funds for nonprofit grantees across the region.
At the event, IICF honored Marsh and their employees with the “Double I” award, a prestigious honor recognizing Influence in the industry and Impact in the community. The “Double I” award is annually given to organizations that have served as philanthropic leaders and luminaries within the industry. Lucy Clarke, President of Marsh Specialty and Marsh Global Placement, accepted the award on behalf of the company and their employees.
“We’re thrilled that so many were able to join us to celebrate the generosity of our industry and its impact on the community at the IICF Northeast Benefit Event,” said Jim Romanelli, Senior Vice President, New York City Branch Manager, CNA, and Chair of the IICF Northeast Division Board of Directors. “We’re grateful to be able to convene together again as an industry at what has become an annual insurance industry tradition in New York, and we’re proud to highlight the inspiring work of leaders in our community like Marsh.”
