• Mohammad Javanbarg, senior vice president of specialty risk.
• Malcolm Tsung, vice president of product management, commercial lines.
• Scott Crozier, vice president of product management, personal lines.
• Yiguang Qiu, vice president of marketing.
“These talented individuals, who have proven track records in providing value in the insurance industry, will help accelerate Orion180’s growth in new and existing markets. They expand our agility and technology-centric knowledge in key areas and complement our strong existing team at Orion180,” says Kenneth Gregg, CEO and founder of Orion180.

Mohammad Javanbarg, senior vice president of specialty risk, joined Orion180 to customize and enhance Orion180’s view of modeled and non-modeled catastrophe risks, and develop innovative specialty insurance solutions. Before joining Orion180, at Liberty Mutual, he served as senior manager, global underwriting strategy. He also has significant experience in risk and insurance with AIG, where he served as director of global property and energy underwriting solutions, and WTW, where he worked in emerging risks and catastrophe modeling.
Javanbarg received his B.S. from Tehran Polytechnic, M.Sc. from Kobe University, and Ph.D. from California-Berkeley. Javanbarg holds CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter), ARM (Associate in Risk Management), ARe (Associate in Reinsurance) and ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) designations.
Malcolm Tsung, vice president of product management, commercial lines, joined Orion180 to spearhead the development of Orion180’s commercial lines products. Before joining Orion180, at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, he served as director, commercial insurance vertical. He also has extensive experience with insurers Utica National, where he served as director of commercial auto; National Interstate, where he served as commercial auto business manager; and Liberty Mutual, where he served as underwriting consultant.. Tsung has led various functions such as underwriting, customer experience, marketing and product development.
Tsung earned a B.S. from Gonzaga and M.B.A. from University of Hartford. He holds the CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter), ARM (Associate in Risk Management), AIDA (Associate in Insurance Data Analytics) and AU (Associate in Commercial Underwriting) designations.
Scott Crozier, vice president of product management, personal lines, joined Orion180 to develop new innovative products and manage the geographic expansion of Orion180’s homeowner product. Before joining Orion180, at Kemper, he served as director of product management, national product execution. He has significant experience with national, regional and Florida-specific insurers, including Citizens Property Insurance, where he was vice president of underwriting and product development; Sawgrass Mutual, where he was vice president of underwriting; and American Integrity Insurance, where he was director of client services. Crozier has led various functions such as underwriting, customer experience, product development and sales.
Crozier earned a B.A. from Rhode Island College. He holds CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter), AIC (Associate in Claims) and API (Associate in Personal Insurance) designations. Crozier is a former U.S. Army Infantryman and officer, having served as the operations officer for a 3,500-soldier infantry brigade combat team in the Florida Army National Guard.
Yiguang Qiu, vice president of marketing, joined Orion180 to enhance the firm’s marketing, public relations and communications strategies. Before joining Orion 180, at Amica Insurance, he served as senior assistant vice president of marketing and communications, playing an important role in shaping the company’s marketing strategies and operations. He brings over two decades of experience in property-casualty and life insurance as well as valuable experience in annuity and mutual fund sales with The Equitable. He has led functions including marketing strategy, direct marketing, strategic partnerships, market research, and analytics.
Qiu earned an M.S. from the University of Minnesota and a Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts. He also holds the Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) designation.
