Inszone Insurance Services announced the acquisition of Shahinian Insurance Services, Inc., a California-based insurance agency with a 50-year history and a national presence. The transaction expands Inszone’s specialty program capabilities while preserving Shahinian Insurance’s established operations and client focus.
Background on Shahinian Insurance Services
Shahinian Insurance Services was founded in 1974 by Edward Shahinian. In the early 1990s, the agency entered a new phase of growth when his daughter, Liz Shahinian, joined the firm and expanded its operational scope. Following Edward Shahinian’s passing in 2005, Liz Shahinian assumed full ownership and continued to grow the business.
Under her leadership, the agency developed specialized insurance programs and established a national reputation for program expertise. These programs focus primarily on event liability, vendor insurance programs, and specialty markets operating across all 50 states.
Specialized Programs and National Reach
Over the years, Shahinian Insurance built a diverse portfolio that includes coverage for kiosk operators, vendors participating in festivals and trade shows, and organizers of community events throughout the country. In addition, the agency offers insurance solutions for exotic animal handlers, educators, and specialty entertainment providers.
To support consistency and compliance for clients and carriers, Liz Shahinian established a risk purchasing group more than 25 years ago.
