Marsh & McLennan Agency Acquires Employee Benefits Group

Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC (MMA), the middle market agency subsidiary of Marsh, today announced that it has acquired Employee Benefits Group, Inc., a Bethesda, Maryland-based independent insurance agency specializing in employee benefits and retirement consulting. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1987, Employee Benefits Group (EBG) provides employee health and welfare consulting and retirement consulting services to clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic. EBG has 12 employees, all of whom are joining MMA.
