U.S. retail insurance broker McGriff has realigned the business’s organization into three distinct geographic regions, as well as appointing four company executives to new leadership roles.
According to the broker, the new structure reaffirms the company’s commitment to implementing a client-first, people-centric focus that “never settles for less.”
Effective immediately, the McGriff organization will be restructured into three distinct regions:
In the South Region, which will continue to be led by Regional President Robert Drew, the company has confirmed that this now includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, New York and Tennessee.
At the same time, McGriff has confirmed that John Haase has been promoted to Regional President of the East Region, which now comprises Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Meanwhile, the business’s Southwest and West regions have been combined into a single West Region under the leadership of Regional President Patrick Dessauer.
The consolidated region includes Arkansas, California, Colorado, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon, Texas, and Washington.
In addition to these regional changes, McGriff has also made four additional hires roles within its Senior Leadership Team:
Firstly, Jeremy McCaslin has assumed a new position as McGriff’s Chief Innovation Officer.
McCaslin will be expected to lead business technology needs related to operations, process development, account management, and production.
Secondly, Carolyn Littlefield has been named Chief Operating Officer for McGriff. In this role, she will be responsible for managing the broker’s day-to-day operations, which will include implementing strategies, setting and monitoring performance goals, managing budgets, as well as ensuring that overall efficiency targets are met.
Thirdly, Doug Hodo has been named President of Specialty and Middle Market, where he will continue to focus on top-line growth initiatives, including specialty vertical development, employee benefits, carrier relations and marketing, national sales initiatives, and program and product development.
McGriff has confirmed that McCaslin, Littlefield, Hodo, and the three regional presidents will continue reporting directly to Read Davis, chief executive officer for McGriff specialty and middle market.
And lastly, Rachael Yelverton has been named Director of Strategic Projects for McGriff, where she will be responsible for building strategy and execution of projects going forward.
Yelverton will report to Carolyn Littlefield.
“Through these changes, we are reaffirming our commitment to better serving our clients and operating at optimal levels of efficiency and effectiveness. We continue to grow our business through innovation and adaptability and to open new avenues for revenue generation, ensuring our long-term sustainability in a dynamic market,” commented Davis.
