Reason for Recall

The action was taken after company testing detected Listeria monocytogenes in both finished products and on cutting equipment surfaces.

Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and potentially fatal infections, particularly in young children, elderly individuals, and those with weakened immune systems. While healthy individuals may experience flu-like symptoms such as fever, nausea, and diarrhea, the infection poses significant risks to pregnant women, including miscarriages and stillbirths.
