NetVU Appoints Jon Gorman as Executive Director

The Network of Vertafore Users (NetVU) has named Jon Gorman, CAE as executive director, announced Joe Clabaugh, chairman of the NetVU executive board of directors. Gorman succeeds Linda Dodson, who is leaving the organization to pursue other opportunities.

Gorman has served in leadership, strategy development and communications roles in financial services, education and mass media. He comes to NetVU from Cornerstone Credit Union League, the nation’s largest regional credit union trade association, where he was senior vice president. Prior to that, he was director of alumni communications at Ball State University and director of member communications for the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC).

“On behalf of the NetVU Board and its members and staff, we are excited to welcome Jon to the organization,” says Clabaugh. “Jon is no stranger to insurance, having worked for NAMIC, and he brings a fresh perspective from outside our industry. We’re looking forward to him elevating a high-performing organization to new levels of engagement and user experience for the benefit of our members.”

Gorman holds the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation. He earned a Master of Science in Media Arts & Sciences at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University. He resides in McKinney, Texas.
