Ryan Specialty Acquires Transportation Wholesaler Crouse and Associates

Crouse and Associates, a transportation specialist, has been acquired by Ryan Specialty Group, a leading international specialty insurance firm. Crouse is headquartered in San Francisco, California, and has offices throughout California, Oregon, and Dallas, Texas. The Crouse team has joined RT Specialty, Ryan Specialty's wholesale brokerage division, expanding the firm's transportation offering.

Insurance M&As slow down

Crouse, which was founded in 1975, is well-known for providing exceptional service and execution on behalf of its retail and carrier trading partners. Crouse specializes in Excess and General Liability, as well as other Property and Casualty risks, in addition to transportation.

The transaction's terms were not disclosed.

Crouse and Associates' sole financial advisor was Waller Helms Advisors.
