SageSure, one of the largest independent managing general underwriters focused on providing catastrophe-exposed property insurance, today announced that it recently surpassed $1 billion of in-force premium and has launched a new corporate brand to signal its ambitions for the future.

Since its founding in 2009, SageSure now serves 14 states, partners with 11 highly rated carriers, and leverages a multi-channel distribution network of both large national distributors and tens of thousands of independent agents. In addition to reaching more than $1 billion of in-force premium last quarter, the organization has raised $840 million in capital since September 2021.

SageSure’s rebrand reflects the organization’s innovative roots and its commitment to serving challenging markets. Building on the company’s track record of underwriting outperformance, technology-driven service, and capital efficiency, the new corporate identity matches SageSure’s marketplace differentiation and indicates its dynamic path ahead.
