Satellite Agency Network Group Inc., known as SAN Group, announced the appointment of Sherri Warcholic as regional vice president for Connecticut and Rhode Island on January 8, 2026. SAN Group is the largest alliance of independent insurance agencies in the Northeast and is headquartered in Hampton, New Hampshire.
In her new role, Warcholic focuses on identifying and developing membership opportunities across Connecticut and Rhode Island. She also supports agency growth throughout the region and works to strengthen carrier relationships on behalf of SAN member agencies. Additionally, she partners closely with Ian Osborn, agency growth coach for Connecticut and Rhode Island, to advance SAN’s regional initiatives.
Warcholic brings extensive experience in sales leadership, territory development, and relationship-based growth across personal and commercial insurance lines. Before joining SAN, she spent more than a decade with Liberty Mutual and Comparion Insurance, where she served as a lead sales representative. During that time, she consistently exceeded production goals through proactive prospecting, strategic territory development, and long-term partnership building.
In addition to her individual sales performance, Warcholic acted as a team lead. In that capacity, she coached sales representatives to strengthen product knowledge, refine sales strategies, and improve overall results. Moreover, her work developing referral and center of influence relationships contributed to expanded market presence and sustained growth.
Earlier in her career, Warcholic worked in a customer-facing aviation sales environment. There, she supported complex service workflows and managed key accounts across multiple facilities. As a result, she developed operational insight and client service experience that now support her work with SAN members and the broader network.
Tom Lizotte, Chief Operating Officer of SAN Group, commented on the appointment. He stated that Warcholic has built her career by developing relationships and driving growth in competitive territories. He also noted that her understanding of agency needs and her collaborative approach add value as she supports SAN member agencies in Connecticut and Rhode Island.
Warcholic holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design from Southern Connecticut State University. She is licensed in property and casualty insurance as well as life and health insurance and holds additional technical certifications. A Connecticut native, she lives in Milford with her three daughters.
