SIAA, The Agent Alliance, held its well-established fundraising event, A Pink Evening in Boston, in support of Dana Farber Cancer Institute | The Jimmy Fund. Over the course of the 90-minute fundraiser, to which guests were encouraged to wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, SIAA was able to raise over $60,000.
“Many within the SIAA community have felt the effects of cancer,” remarked SIAA’s CEO, Matt Masiello. “It brings us great pride to support Dana-Farber’s efforts in the fight against this disease.”
SIAA employees participated in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk for the first time. Well over 50 team members contributed to the cause, either by creating a walking team or donating individually. The Walk raised over $9,350, which when coupled with a company match by SIAA, brought the total amount raised to $18,700 to help support cancer research.
Masiello noted, “Seeing colleagues and team members rally around such an important cause is genuinely uplifting.”
A Pink Evening in Boston with SIAA, the signature charitable event of SIAA’s Annual Fall Business Meeting & Growth Summit, has raised over $300,000 in donations for Dana Farber Cancer Institute | The Jimmy Fund over a 5-year period.
