Prior to joining Venture Programs, Peterson served as nonprofit and human service commercial underwriter for GuideOne Insurance in Des Moines, Iowa. She has also served as senior underwriter in the human services department for Philadelphia Insurance Companies, underwriting large nonprofit organizations, mentoring new hires and overseeing a $15 million book of business.
Peterson earned her bachelor’s degree in human resources management and services from Cabrini University. She currently resides in Havertown, Pennsylvania
