>Zurich North America has entered into an agreement with program administrator, Allied Public Risk LLC to provide a full range of insurance coverage to select cities, towns, boroughs, counties, and special service districts with populations under 100,000. Zurich will begin writing the MuniPlus program on November 1 with a policy effective date of January 1, 2019.

>MuniPlus is available in select states through Allied’s proprietary distribution system comprised of public entity broker specialists. The program offers a full ensemble of coverages addressing the unique risks of public entities including public official’s liability, police professional liability, employment practices liability, property, general liability, auto and cybersecurity. Umbrella coverage is available with limits of up to $10 million.
