The commercials star two policyholder vehicles: A restored 1956 Ford Thunderbird (see the commercial at http://bit.ly/1iTLPYg) and 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS (http://bit.ly/1dUE4gZ). The TV spots, titled "Baby Monitor" and "Photo Album," both feature a humorous look at the fact that car hobbyists hold their prized vehicles in high esteem.

"I know firsthand the passion that collector car enthusiasts have for their rides," said Dennis Gage, host of My Classic Car. "Having American Collectors support our 18th season feels like a perfect fit -- the company actively embraces the hobby in so many different ways."

Jill Bookman, CEO of American Collectors, commented: "This brand-new sponsorship demonstrates our continued support of the hobby. It also offers our agent partners an additional way to connect with car hobbyists in their client base. MCC's host, Dennis Gage, is an icon in the automotive industry and his passion for classic cars is complementary to our long-standing passion for the hobby."

My Classic Car appears on Velocity (a Discovery network that reaches 60 million households) Saturday 6:30 am ET and Sunday 9:30 am ET and MAVTV (26 million) five times per week. Additionally, the show runs on MyClassicCar.com, which draws 20,000 unique visitors each month.

Bookman will appear as a guest on My Classic Car on January 25 and April 19 discussing collector protection needs and agreed-value insurance. The ads launched January 4 as part of the firm's sponsorship of the weekly show.

American Collectors also features policyholder vehicles in its web TV series American Detours (www.AmericanDetoursTV.com) and its weekly "Cool Ride of the Week" contest.

"Our policyholders are big fans of 'My Classic Car' and its well-known host, and that's what's led us to team up with the show," said Bookman. "The ads show our appreciation for the car hobbyists that have made insuring collector vehicles so much fun for our company since our founding in 1976. The spots also illustrate for agents how much collectors value their vehicles."
