Adam began working at Ronkonkoma, New York-based IWA, a leading specialized insurance provider for the dry-cleaning industry and other niche markets, in 1986 and took over the reins several years later. He was a longtime client and friend of ours and would often spend countless hours with us strategizing on how to help agents grow and expand in the niche markets IWA serves.
During this tenure at IWA, Adam was crucial to the realization of the company's dream to become the largest insurer of dry cleaners in the country and a full-fledged corporation that has branched out into other categories of insurance. IWA was acquired by one of largest insurance companies in the world, Brown & Brown, where Adam continued to run the family business while serving as an executive for Brown & Brown. He was an exceptional entrepreneur and mentor.
Adam will be remembered for his vision, generosity and friendship. Our condolences go out to his family, friends and colleagues.
