The Richard Rogers-designed tower, to be sited at 122 Leadenhall Street, is opposite the legendary Lloyd’s of London building at One Lime Street, also designed by Rogers, and close to Swiss Reinsurance Co.’s U.K. Gherkin building and other major insurers.

After posting second quarter results, British Land said it is reviewing timing of construction and target completion in order to “optimize cost and occupational demand,” at 122 Leadenhall Street as demand for office space in the financial sector continues to decline.
