Avondale Insurance Associates (Avondale) is pleased to announce that Marcus Granado has joined the Company effective March 19th 2018, as Vice President Underwriting based in the Chicago office. Marcus has over 20 years' experience in the Excess and Surplus Lines Property Market having started his career at North Shore Management and Associates before more recently working for the Insurance Company of the West.
Marcus is a highly regarded DIC specialist that has focused exclusively on the wholesale distribution network his entire career. At Avondale he will be working closely with Broderick Whitaker in Chicago as well as supporting Avondale's underwriting unit in New Hampshire. Avondale writes a broad array of E&S property occupancies and exposures on a nationwide basis and with Avondale he will be expanding his focus to include fire and wind business as well as DIC.
