As international casualty leader, Ms. Hahn will lead and coordinate Marsh's international casualty placement and advisory strategies for US clients. Based in Morristown, New Jersey, she will work closely with Marsh's casualty placement and advisory leadership, as well as the multinational leadership to ensure enhanced client service delivery.
Ms. Hahn joined Marsh in 1989 and has held a number of roles of increasing responsibility within the Casualty Practice. For the last two years, she served as a project leader on a major operational excellence initiative.
Based in New York, Ms. O'Leary will be responsible for leading the Casualty Practice's efforts in the East Zone, which is comprised of offices in 12 states and the District of Columbia. She will continue in her current role as New York Metro Casualty Practice leader where she is responsible for managing the casualty groups in New York City; Morristown, New Jersey; and Norwalk, Connecticut. She joined Marsh in 1992 in the casualty claims department.
Ms. Hahn and Ms. O'Leary will report to Steve Kempsey, US Casualty leader, who had held both roles before being named to his new leadership position in August.
"By fully dedicating a leader of Mary-Beth's caliber and experience to international casualty, we are further strengthening our ability to structure and service effective and regulatory-compliant global programs for all lines of casualty coverage for our clients," said Mr. Kempsey.
He added: "Kathy's extensive casualty expertise, coupled with her intense client focus and excellent execution skills make her an ideal person to lead Marsh's largest practice in the East and ensure that we deliver superior casualty advisory and transactional services to clients in the region."

Marsh has announced the appointment of Mary-Beth Hahn and Kathy O'Leary as its new international and East Zone casualty leaders, respectively, within Marsh's US Casualty Practice. The two Marsh veterans also join the firm's casualty leadership team.
