U.S. Seeks Public Comment on Zoox Petition to Deploy Robotaxis Without Steering Wheels

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced March 10 that it is seeking public comment on Zoox’s request to operate up to 2,500 purpose-built vehicles that do not include steering wheels or other manual controls.
