Towers Watson announced today that it has hired Sherri Bockhorst as a managing director in its group exchange business. In this role, Sherri will help continue to drive innovation and outcomes in the private exchange market."We are delighted that someone of Sherri's experience and caliber has chosen to join Towers Watson," said Jim Foreman, managing director for Towers Watson's Exchange Solutions business segment. "From her long experience in the industry, she brings deep knowledge and expertise in employee benefit strategy, health care delivery and consumer engagement. She's been a leader in the development of the exchange industry and will help us continue to expand the success of our exchange solutions for active employees."
Before rejoining Towers Watson, Bockhorst led the launch of the RightOpt® private exchange solution offered by Buck Consultants at Xerox. At Buck, Bockhorst oversaw product strategy, operations, vendor/partner relations, and sales and marketing for the solution, serving both active and retiree populations.

Bockhorst is a graduate of Maryville University with a B.S. in actuarial science and an executive M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.
